Decaying Beach Graffiti Texture

Taken at Camber Sands in East Sussex. This is the back of a building that's located along the edge of the beach, alongside the dunes.

The main steps that I carried out to achieve the final result were:

  • Boosted overall contrast and adjusted the tone curve to bring out more highlights and darken the shadows slightly.
  • Boosted overall image clarity.
  • Boosted overall image vibrance.
  • Decreased overall image saturation significantly.
  • Adjusted the individual saturation levels for the yellows & oranges, and adjusted the hue for the blue channel.
  • Exported to Photoshop for final sharpening and resizing.
