Tinted Mono Urban Skateboarder
I took this shot at the skate park along Brighton/Hove seafront earlier this year. The park was seriously busy so it was hard to try an isolate an individual skateboarder without getting numerous other foreground and background distractions. This was about the best I could get on the day. I'll go back some other time when it's less busy and try to get some better shots.
I wanted to give this image a real grungy, urban/street look, so gave it a tinted mono treatment, with some blue/green tones. I also added a number of graduated filters, some strong contrast, some clarity boost and general exposure tweaks.
