Waiting for the Tide

Taken at Shoreham Beach, East Sussex, about an hour before sunset. I took this shot whilst holding the camera down at ground level, having pre-focused on the right spot. I ran the original RAW file through Photomatix to bring out some additional details, then applied the usual processing in Lightroom.
